As a woman, meeting the mother of your significant other is a very big deal. We always want to make sure everything is on point for this first encounter... Hair laid; nails done. We might even rock stockings and a girdle complete with a knee length skirt just to impress! However,WE ARE LOOKING AT ALL THE WRONG THINGS!!!!
Like I said before, if we are the woman that God has called us to be, his mama will notice. HOWEVER, if you are as fraudulent as that knee length skirt you put on to please her, she sees right through it. We as women know when someone is going to far to try to fit in or be something that they're not. We read it. His mama is the same way, just tenured.
However, if you go in as yourself, being the woman that God has called you to be, she had no choice but to accept what's real. She reads it in the hug... in the speech... in everything.... She's looking for the spirit in you, and that spirit in her should agree with the spirit in you. CHECK YO SELF AT THE DOOR!!!!
